The position is responsible for representing, selling, and supporting designated products to our Construction Layout customers in Central and South Texas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sales calls and closing sales orders by assessment of customer needs and matching identified needs with products.

Advising new & existing clients on new solutions to their construction surveying & engineering challenges with a view to becoming more efficient & cost effective.

Demonstration of equipment as appropriate. Equipment to include Robotic Total Stations, GNSS Rovers, Data Collectors, and Office Software.

Familiarity with Leica High-End hardware and software would be a distinct advantage.

Develop new clients and maintains existing clients. Provide Technical Support.

Assist in trade shows, conferences and exhibitions. Conduct customer seminars.

Responsible for telephone marketing to increase walk-in customers and call for delivery needs.

Maintain complete and current information for all prospects using CRM.

Maintains a complete familiarity with the benefits and features of the product, and exchange information about selling techniques and benefits with other team members.

Active solicitation of rental and repair work, and promotion of Customer Care Packages (CCP).

Travel within the territory and occasional long distance travel to training and trade shows.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE
Degree from technical institute or commercial college with an emphasis on surveying or civil engineering or related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in all applications of surveying and related software. A strong aptitude for sales along with excellent technical, communications and presentation skills required. Must be proficient in the working of CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and E-mail.
Inside Sales/Deliveries - San Antonio/Austin
The position is responsible for counter sales and deliveries of field and safety supplies to contractors, surveyors, engineers and other customer segments. Must have a pickup truck for deliveries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for all counter sales.

Handle all shipping and receiving for the store

Responsible for all local deliveries

Responsible for warehouse organization and will include forklift operation.

Keep the store and retail area stocked and well organized.

Responsible for telephone marketing to increase walk-in customers and call for delivery needs.

Remain current on industry trends, market activities and competitors through research, trade magazines, trade organizations, social networking and other resources.

Assist in properly receiving all incoming supplies and equipment.

Assist in keeping stock equipment in an organized manner.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Have good organizational skills.
Be computer literate and able to use MS Office programs, UPS Worldship.
Be able to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Able to communicate effectively.
High-End Survey Sales Representative
The position is responsible for representing and selling designated products (High-End Survey) and services to our Civil Survey Segment customers in a defined territory. Meet sales targets and maximizing sales in the assigned territory.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Advising new & existing clients on new solutions to their surveying & engineering challenges with a view to becoming more efficient & cost effective.

Demonstration of equipment as appropriate. Equipment to include Robotic Total Stations (with & without imaging), GPS (Reference Networks), Data Controllers and Processing Software.

Familiarity with Leica High-End surveying hardware and software would be a distinct advantage.

Territory and account management in designated counties in assigned territory.

Meet or exceed designated sales targets and prepare and meet sales forecasts.

Develop new clients and maintains existing clients.

Propose local advertising/promotion and direct mail campaigns.

Proposes/assist in trade shows, conferences and exhibitions.

Propose and conduct customer seminars.
-
Provide assistance to clients on technical questions: refer to Technical Services or other divisions within the Corporation as required.

Monitor market developments and reports with competitive intelligence.

Preparation and submission of monthly sales forecasts, including unit sales for designated sales territory; pre-call planning; territory and account planning.

Maintains a complete familiarity with the benefits and features of the Leica product line and other secondary product lines, and exchange information about selling techniques and benefits with other Segment members.

Active solicitation of rental and repair work.

Advise clients of the manufacturer warranties, policies and their benefits.

Monitor and advises on local inventory levels including rental pools.

Obtain written approval levels from Segment Manager on discount requirements in excess of authorized levels.

Propose special pricing on tenders and/or specific client projects.

Service Technician
Those who use our products every day trust them for their dependability, the value they deliver, and the superior customer support and technical service. To ensure that we are providing quality and timely technical service, we are looking for a Service Technician to join our team.
The Service Technician will maintain, repair and upgrade surveying equipment (including GPS, TPS, construction lasers, computers and software) or other Leica Geosystems, Sokkia, Spectra, Nikon, Topcon or other 3rd party equipment.
Experience in a calibration or metrology lab, optical repair and or laser alignment are desired.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Perform service diagnostics and assist in the preparation of estimates.
• Repairs equipment as required
• Complete equipment calibration and cleaning services as assigned.
• Checks service diagnostics programs and makes change recommendations.
• Checks new versions of software for bugs and makes change recommendations.
• Supports service and sales personnel
• Supports customer and support personnel
• Answers customer inquiries related to service issues
• Adhere to G4 service protocols
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree (AA) in Electronics or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude combined with high manual dexterity needed.
• Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
• Should be flexible to help out as needed in a small team environment – this may include providing direct assistance to customers.
• Ability to gather information and troubleshoot technical problems
• Strong computer skills, including software/hardware installation and configuration and troubleshooting under Windows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Some travel for training may be required, but in general, minimal travel is required.
• Some lifting of items 50 - 100 pounds is required. The position requires particular vision requirements including the ability to adjust focus or adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
