The Topcon RL-H4C Self-Leveling Rotary Laser is a good tool for excavating as it has the ability to match slopes. It has a range of 2,600', with the accuracy of 1/16” when measuring at 100'. The overall accuracy ranges from +10 to -10 arc seconds. The laser has a rotation speed of 600 RPM. The laser will self-correct if the unit is moved out of level. Originally the Topcon RL-H3C , the H4C is more accurate and percise than ever.

 

The LS-80L Laser Receiver is compatible with the Topcon RL-H4C Self-Leveling Rotary Laser. The remote runs on batteries and will last up to 80 hours. It also has a low battery warning, and will also turn itself off after 30 minutes to save on the battery life. The receiver can be mounted on a rod with a clamp.

 

The Topcon RL-H4C Self-Leveling Rotary Laser has two LCD displays, so it makes it easier to check the data without moving the unit. If you do need to reposition the unit, it has two handles on the body of the machine. The laser uses D batteries, which will work for up to 100 hours. It is also protected from both dust and water, making it suitable for use in the field.
